October 24
Blood of Paradise
Our first Studio Session on October 24th served as the launch party for the cast, creative, and production teams of the 15th and FINAL SKETCHBOOK Fetival. Blood of Paradise featured speeches by Festival Director Anthony Moseley and artist Wesley Kimler, excerpts from some of the plays, an open mic, live music by Steven Gilpin, and a dance party fueled by DJ Julio Bishop.

Domination of Black
The second installment of the Open Studio Sessions featured live music by Garvey Train and the Microphone Misfits, as well as performances by dancer Kristina Isabelle, violinist Consuelo LePauw, and a reading of the poem Sunday Morning featuring artists, directors, and collaborators involved in this years Festival. The night ended with a DJ'd dance party.

Death is the Mother of All Beauty
The final Open Studio Sessions included something we've never done before: public rehearsals of the plays participating in this years Festival! We saw full run throughs of 12 of the 16 plays with live musical interludes from Karlis Kandero and Mercedes.
Programming
